Good morning dear Dr Morse!
Thank you so much for all these precious informations 🌹
Where i live ( i’m a german expat living in Algeria) i can’t get you tinctures and some herbs aren’t available,
Could i skip cascara sagrada for senna?
And how could i replace mullein leaf?
Thank you 🌹
Error happened.
Also how to replace slippery elm bark and gentian root …?
I can get plants which are typical for mediteranean climate.

I already gave you a few alternatives for Slippery Elm in my previous post. They would be the mucilaginous, expectorant, demulcent herbs like Marshmallow, Comfrey, Licorice and chickweed. Gentian is a tonic herb along with Barberry, Golden Seal, White Poplar, European Centaury, False Unicorn Root and others. I would compare their properties to those of Gentian to pick the best alternate.

Hi Jutta,
For the best chance of getting a response from Dr. Morse about the herbs in a future video, please also email your question to: ✉️ [email protected] 🙂

Jutta- in the book by the very famous Naturopathic doctor and Master herbalist Dr. Christopher, THE SCHOOL OF NATURAL HEALING you learn about roughly 100 herbs. He categorizes them by their actions on the body. Senna and Casgara Sagrada are both “Cathartic” herbs used to purge the system. There are 11 others. Butternut bark, he says is gentle. Moutain Flax is closer to Senna but does not “gripe” as much as Senna. Licorice root is “mildly purgative” he says. The others are more “brisk or quick” a/k/a fast acting or maybe a bit too strong without used in combination with other herbs.
Mullein is an “astringent” and an “expectorant” and “demulcent” herb. For astringent herbs I might try Red Raspberry leaf . For expectorant, demulcent properties , I’d look to Comfrey, Marshmallow, Slippery Elm or possibly Licorice.
He goes into much much more as well as other herbs and combinations. The book is almost 700 pages long.

I love you Dr M! I help many get into a state of healing using your herbs, in combo of my own magical medicine. Appreciate your wisdom, love for herbs, healing + God — and your staff! God bless you all. We won the spiritual warfare. Keep on keeping on ❤️
